From sketched ideas and photographs, I develop and weave fabrics to create a look and feel of texture, colour and structure, with both form and function playing an equal part in the design process.
Mixing yarns and colours together to produce a palette for a project is part of the ever evolving and constant fascination of weaving yarn into cloth.
Cotton, silk and fine wools are a few of my yarns of choice for producing both sculptured and flat fabrics suitable for fashion accessories and soft furnishings.
