ANN SEALS [+]

The themed design source is the initial inspiration for my exhibition work. From sketched ideas and photograghs, I develop and weave fabrics for soft furnishings and fashion accessories. Using a mix of natural and man made fibres to give a look and feel of texture, colour and structure.

A background in teaching handcrafts in Adult Education eventually led to gaining a degree from Nottingham Trent University in Textile Design where my passion for constructive textiles developed into handwoven fabrics and Tapestry pieces.
