I am a textile artist working in the mixed media of fabrics, papier mache, leather, threads, beads and paper. More specifically, I enjoy using contrasting materials like hessian and finest silks with an emphasis on embellishments.

My designs evolve gradually from research around the given theme and quite often incorporate natural details gathered from nearby Sherwood Forest. Having spent some years in the local textile industry, I strive for attention to detail. The cushions, hangings and pictures are always meticulously finished to a high standard using the finest fabrics and techniques. I also get enjoyment from working with papier mache and anything that comes to hand in making adornments for the home.
