LYN MORRIS

My work is mainly two dimensional, using print, sometimes with mixed media, on paper or fabric. Recent exhibitions have included etchings (‘Visions of Lawrence’ in 2001), monoprints (‘Dodeka goes Travelling’ in 2002) and collagraphs (‘Workhouse Works’-in 2004). My fabric hangings utilise dying and printing, often with collage and machine embroidery.

As a teacher, I am interested in giving workshops and developing creativity among people of all ages. As a lay minister, I am especially interested in designing for worship spaces and creating images of a spiritual nature. These are then teamed up with a friend’s poetry to produce cards for religious purposes.
